Went to st louis yesterday to see my first trail of dead show. much much better than i had expected. they had 2 drummers, switched instruments every song and just plain rocked faces. i got TONS of pictures up in the gallery (click on the license plate up top) and had a quite amazing time.
the opening 2 bands were rather lame, but trail of dead more than made up for it. during the show the lead singer/guitarist collapsed on the crowd right by me, and his guitar head nailed this guy in the face, and he was bleeding all over the place. pretty lame, i bet that guy had to get stitches, but other than that it was a rock tastic time. you can see some pics of one of the singers jumping out in the crowd, among other great rock times encountered last nite. at one point the lead guy got up from his drumset and handed the crowd a symbol and a drumstick and had them play it. the kids there were pretty lame and just fought over the drumstick while my friend yelled “hit the damn symbol with the stick!”
towards the end of the show they let us know this was the 3rd to last show on this tour or something, and these were their last songs or something. from there they proceeded to go super rawk style on my face and the stage as they tore the hell out of it, throwing instruments to and fro. i almost cried…

Countless hours of co-op tomfoolery led to this AMAZING stunt never replicated. The trick is so amazing it warranted a live action reaction skit featuring my then-roommates. HBO news post

synide the band - 1998-2000
This is where the name "synide" came from. A small town
band comprised of 4 best friends.; An unstoppable force the small town of Lonoke, Arkansas had never seen, and couldn’t have been prepared for.
Click on our un-released cd above to enter the un-altered site myself and CJ made in our spare time in 10th grade. In that site, you can find links to our 3 cover songs we recorded live with tape recorder. After realizing we were the greatest musical force ever assembled, we headed to Blue Chair Recording Studio to produce the 3 original songs below. Ultimately the world was not ready for the force that was synide, but the legacy lives on.

Messing around in halo produced this insane stunt. I’m jumping from just under instant death height, and landing on a jackal, killing him and breaking the fall all at the same time. Over and over. HBO loved it.

The first halo video i made. Using ultra leet skills is the only way to jump this entire chasm by vehicle. I was the first one to successfully make it all the way across, as documented in THIS HBO news post.
